Tough One

 It may not always be easy to love everyone, it may not always be easy to forgive others or even yourself, it may not always be easy to push forward and do better, it may not always be easy to finish the race but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't try.  It doesnt mean that you should just give up.  Keep going and push forward with all of your might!  Finish the race!!  You will be rewarded.  I promise.

Awakening Run

Guess who ran a 5k this morning!?  Haha that's right! This girl did!!  I'm not as great at running as Meghan is.. She ran it in in 29 minutes and 43 seconds!!!  Lets just say mine was about 40 minutes... I was never the runner in the family but at least I started, finished and helped others! :)

Short story...we had our water bottles this morning and I had poked holes in the top of mine so that I didnt' have to stop to drink and so I could spray myself with it.  Well, Jonny decided that he didn't want to carry his water bottle anymore, so he pawned it off on me.  I was kinda grumpy about this, but I had a feeling that it was good that I had the extra water bottle.  A few minutes later, I caught up with a kid who was having an asthma attack.  It was perfect!  I had the extra water, I could help.  A little bit later, I caught up to Nathan who needed a drink but we were far away from the water stop, so I gave him some too!!

Long story short.  Even though I died this morning, I still served & I feel GREAT!! :)

Summer Star

So, my Mom likes to grow tons & tons of flowers, vegetables and fruit.  Well, I decided to breathe them in a little and take some pics.  My camera is not the best, I was using the one on my phone, but here goes..

Manti Pageant!!!

So, as Young Women we went to the Manti Pangeant and it was AWESOME!!!!  You should have Seen the stars!!!  It was Gorgeous!!  Here are some pics to prove it.

So, as you all know it is a very Special Day..or the end of one.. Would anyone like to tell me what day it is today? No? Oh... well today is Father's Day!! One of the Best days of the year!!! (so I've been told) Haha like Moms, Dads are always there for you. It may not seem like it because they have work and they are not as loving as Moms, but they are there when you need help with Mechanical stuff, tips for electronics, barbecuing, etc. 

One way that my Dad and I really bond is when we go fishing. I've been fishing with my Dad ever since I was little (that I can remember). He taught me how to pick out worms, tackle, bait, how to bait a line, how to cast it, how to watch for the bobber, how to fish on the bottom of the lake, how to feel for the little tugs, how to get the hook stuck in the Fish's mouth, how to reel it in, how to take the hook out, how to gut the fish, so on and so forth. Because of my Dad's example I can now teach my younger siblings how to fish and what to look for.

I dont say this very often, but... I LOVE YOU DADDY!! :)

Good gone bad...

So this morning we were assigned to pick up/straighten the main rooms; front room, kitchen, dining room, family room, office, etc.  So, we finished these jobs pretty quick, so I decided to do the dishes to kinda help my Mom out, you know? Well...lets just say it didn't go too well...take a look.

3 weeks tomorrow!! !! !!

I usually keep track of these things, but for some reason I didn't keep track of this one. Anyways, tomorrow marks the 3rd week that I have known A. I'm pretty Excited!! I don't know if A realizes this but I do!! Don't worry... I'll be sure to tell A tomorrow.. I can't wait!!! :D

Tomorrow is also my half-birthday and the day that Kodi and I are borrowing my Mom's jeep (don't worry, we asked first) so that we can go have a little girl's day out! It will be my 6 month mark (with my license)!! So, now I can drive around with Kodi in the car (and this time it will be legal).

Letters to a Friend
