Hanging with my sibs.....

Lunch at Johnny Rockets

A tearful good bye at the Salt Lake Airport

I'm here

I've been off and on all night (since tuesday) but I made it through the airport and to the MTC.  Our group started with 6 missionaries; 3 elders and 3 sisters and ended with 12 missionaries; 7 sisters and 5 elders.  Its weird not seeing the mountains all around.  California was way weird with all the water.  New Zealand is very GREEN. You can taste and breathe the water in the air.  I've been put into my room with my companion.  I can't pronounce her name but she is from Fiji!!  I've already started picking up this accent...it slips out every now and then.  I miss my southern drawl.

I had dinner and a 4am breakfast on the plane and then we ate breakfast again here at the MTC.  I better start working out if I'm gonna keep up ;)  I was gonna say something and then forgot...bleh.  I need sleep, sleeping on the plane wasn't quite working out.  I love it here!!!  I feel as if I'm in a dream, which is ok because it hasn't hit yet about what I'm doing and what I've gotten myself into...

Oh!!!  I remembered what I was gonna tell you.  Next Thursday we have the privilege to drive an hour and a half away to go do a session in the Hamilton Temple!!!!!  I can't wait!!! :)

Lunch is in two hours.  The time is weirding me out, I feel like I've been up for ages and it should be like two in the afternoon, but its not.  Its ten am in the morning.

One thing that has my mind exploding is that I'm actually here!!  In New Zealand!!  Doing the Lord's work.  He put Me in charge of someone's life.  That's a lot of Faith in one little Tori.  Its so Beautiful here, I can't belive how Gorgeous it is.
While interviewing this morning, I was given a goal to find out who Sister Jones really is.  What is my lineage like?  Am I more like Mom or more like Dad?  And what traits did I get from the Tribes of Israel.  So my reading tonight is going to consist of the Book of Mormon and my Specific Lineage.

I'm somewhat nervous to learn to teach all the people of New Zealand but I love challenges.  I'll get there.  There's so much more I could tell you but we still need to unpack and then head to lunch...hmm trying to proportion your time is troubling yet fun.  My hair is so gross!!!  I haven't had a chance to shower so its oily and I feel disgusting.  I'd feel better if I could go play in some grease and oil...but I don't think they let you do that here. :p

I still have 40 minutes left...I guess I just type fast.  Tell me how are things over there in the States? (haha that sounds so weird to say)  How are you?  How is life?  What's new?  I miss you guys...but I have a good great feeling about being here, like everything is right where it should be.  I'm only here for 2 weeks and then I move districts.  I'm in the Alma district currently.  Not sure if I wanna unpack everything or just live outta my suitcase for right now.

If you stand in front of the air conditioner for too long, you get cold but it feels good after you've been in the muggy air.  Its not too humid yet, but it is only morning...I have a feeling that I wont get to shower until tonight...its really depressing but!!!  I get to brush my teeth!!!  Makes me so happy.

Do you ever get nauseous if you sit at the computer for too long?  Like you're too focused or something?  I don't know.  When we first got here, driving on the other side of the road, the lights, the card, everything is different.  Its mind-boggling.  I was kinda hoping that the toilets would flush backwards...they don't in the airport but maybe they do here.  I have confirmation that Australia is like Death when it comes to the poisonous creatures and New Zealand is like Life.  So I am safe.  Except from stupid people...you can probably still find some around these parts.

With the accent running through my head, I feel like watching Crocodile Hunters...that old show where the guy touch and played with every venomous animal he could get his hands on...the one that died from a sting ray attack...yeah that guy.  I haven't gotten enough pictures to load them yet but I'll have plenty to show you next week possibly.

I know this is a long letter but I can't find a stopping point and I still have a half hour left on the computer...my fingers and arms are starting to freeze though (I'm sitting right in front of the fan).  Everyone here is really nice.  I'm sleeping on the top bunk in my room.  The rooms have two bunks in them.  There's three of us in there right now.  Sister Freidrick doesn't have a companion yet so she just sticks with us (still cant pronounce my companion's name yet).

I have a nametag!!!!!  Its pretty chill.  I actually have two, just in case...lol and there is an elderly couple with the last name of Jones coming as well.  Not sure when, but I don't know.  So I need some advice...I'm already hungry (and I just ate breakfast) so I'm probably gonna eat a lot more than what I'm used to...So I need good exercising routines or whatever that I can do while I'm here.  Once I get a bike, I'll get some cardio in  that way but I need muscle work-outs, especially upper arm.  I don't wanna gain too much weight and not have it go to the wrong place..

I still have my Coke that I bought in the airport at San Fransisco...I was suprising disappointed when it didn't taste like rum.. :p  I wanna go play at the park...just randomly go play on the swings and the slides and whatnot.

Haha oh!!  Guys!!! I'm just so excited to be here!!!  I can't wait to tell you about my next adventure!!  I don't know when I'll be able to mail letters but once I know I'll get them out!!

I Love You All!!!!
